David Reutimann Wins Wild Sam’s Town 250 For 1st career BUSCH Win!

Marcos Ambrose & David Reutimann lead the way in qualifying at Memphis Motorsports Park to give The Joie of seating a sweep of the front row for the Sam’s Town 250. Once the green flag was dropped this race would go down in the records book for 2nd most cautions as 25 yellows waived it was one caution short set back in 1992 at the Hickory speedway for 26.

When the race finally ended some 4-1/2 hours later, David Reutimann was able to put his Aarons Dream Machine, Toyota into victory lane for his first career BUSCH Series win. David was sitting in a Joie of seating full custom.

Bobby Santos closed out the Whelen Modified Tour season with an impressive win in the Thompson Ice Breaker to collect his first career modified win.

Santos was behind the wheel of Ol’ Blue easily one of the most recognized open wheel modified’s to run on the tour. Bobby was sitting in a Modified full custom.

Doug Van Den Brink gets first Drift win for the Joie Of Seating at (VIR) Virginia International Raceway. Going into the VIR GT event Doug was defending champion from last year and was able to defend his win from a year ago, this year’s event was over 40 cars strong and coming off a disappointing showing in NJ Doug was optimistic about getting back on track to winning.

“Lead Foot” Larry Barnett grabbed his fifth Limited Sportsman win at the 5/8 high banked Thompson speedway going from green-to-checker to close out his impressive 2007 season, Larry came up a little short to defend his 2006 Championship Title but is already gearing up for the 2008 season to hopefully regain his Championship Back.

Larry was sitting a Joie Of Seating Full Custom.

Chucky Hossfeld went to Lancaster Speedway with one thing on his mind and that was to win the 19th Annual US Open event. Driving a modified that he owns Hossfeld beat 26 of the best NY State modified drivers to grab the checkered flag.

Chucky started the year with a full time Whelen modified tour ride but midway thru the season the team split, since the split Chuck has put all his focus & efforts on getting his own ride together, after many hours and a spending his own money it all paid off for “ The hot shoe” with a big win. Chucky was sitting in a Modified full custom.

Kyle Kuchta ended his Mini-Cup season on a strong note after claiming his 3rd straight feature win at Londonderry Raceway in New Hampshire.

Kyle is an up & coming driver in the New England region and a driver to keep your eye’s on as he moves up the ranks in his young career. Kyle was sitting in a custom Minicup seat.

After a strong runner up finish the week prior at New Hampshire Speedway, Silky grabbed his 1st career Modified tour win in convincing style at the Thompson Speedway over veteran Reggie Ruggiero. Ronnie not only had to battle with Ruggiero for the win late in the event, but also had to do battle with one of the tours toughest competitor’s Teddy Christopher (who got parked for an incident with another driver) For Silky it was just a matter of time before the talented wheel man from Norwalk, Ct. would find victory lane as the Silk Plumbing & Heating team has been a consistent front runner on the Modified Tour each week.

3rd place Todd Szegedy 4th place Bobby Santos & James Civali who rounded out the top 5 were all riding in LaJoie Asphalt Custom seats.

On Lap 116 of the scheduled 200 lapper in the New Yorker 200 run at Utica-Rome speedway Stewart Friesen spun while running the 3rd position did a 360-degree spin lost only one spot and rebounded to win the 200 lap event. “I hope I don’t get hit” was the only thought that flashed into Friesen mind as he completed his spectacular spin.

Stewart collected a cool $10,000.00 for his spin & win performance. Stewart was sitting in a Dirt Modified Saturday Night Special.
